YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS SENIOR RECRUITER:
* Utilize Workday for recruiter access and managing candidate data efficiently
* Post internal and external job posting to attract a diverse pool of candidates
* Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates for open positions
* Collaborate with third-party recruitment firms on searches to expand the talent network
* Participate in sourcing calls with hiring managers to develop strategic recruitment plans
* Schedule and coordinate interviews, including in-person and virtual as needed
* Conduct interviews with hiring managers to assess candidate suitability for roles
* Organize and conduct criminal background and reference checks
* Prepare offer letters for HR and hiring manager approval
* Ensure compensation aligns with pay grades and salary bands
* Facilitate new hire pre-onboarding processes
* Organize and send out first-day information
* Engage in marketing activities such as career fairs, trade shows and other local resources to attract talent
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A SENIOR RECRUITER:
* 5+ years of experience in recruitment
* Familiarity of manufacturing environments an asset
* Proficiency in using Workday or similar recruitment software
* Strong communication, interpersonal and organization skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
* Experience with new hire onboarding processes and coordination
* Knowledge of marketing strategies for talent acquisition a plus
